About Us

Established for 35 years, Kelston Precision Gears Ltd is now one of the largest privately owned gear
manufacturing companies in the UK.

In 2002, after many years working alongside the Screw Jack and Actuator industry, the opportunity
arose to acquire the intellectual property and design expertise of Fortune Actuators, a former
customer, and, in doing so, created Kelston Transmissions Ltd.

The synergy of this partnership has made Kelston Transmissions Ltd an internationally respected supplier
of specialist electro-mechanical positioning equipment throughout the world.

Our continuous improvement and investment programme, using the latest CNC gear manufacturing
equipment and production methods, coupled with our reputation for outstanding customer service has seen our business grow from strength to strength.

In 2010, after further expansion and streamlining, the two companies came together as one under the
KELSTON Precision Gears banner, together now incorporated in our new 100,000 sq ft factory, with the sole intention of increasing our service and product range available to our expanding customer base.
